Polyextrude is great for extruding primitives, add a facet node and zscale and you have control over variation of extrusions.
I was asked how to assign a point color that would ramp and I created a point wrangle node to assign based on the distance. This was a good reminder about round-off / comparisons. Try this and comment out the tolerance value and you will get some odd red points on the inner tube. Good debugging stills were employed to track it down - thanks to the geometry spreadsheet.
