Blade 2.6 Setting Up the Database
The first thing you should do is set up your database. This sets up the folder (directory) that will be used to store the data that you are capturing automatically (x2d files, vsk) as well as the saved data (vss, hdf, and fbx files).- First manually create a folder in the D drive. You will create a folder outside of blade.
- Back in Vicon Blade you will create a new database. This is where your capture data will be stored.
How? Under the
main button, top left (looks like a camera light and is just
above the plug in icon), open the menu.
Click on Data Management, at the bottom of the pull down
menu. It toggles the Data Management pane.
|
This location will be where you will read your .enf from later when you return to do postprocessing after quitting blade. ie.) Fowler/ClassOct6 to open read file ClassOct6.enf in that directory.
Now you are ready to begin calibration.
To
prepare for capture, first calibrate the
cameras, then capture the movement.
